General road map of the Caucasus region with altitude tinting to portray the topography. The map shows main roads, railways, shipping routes and airports. Driving distances between points are indicated on the map, also high passes with their altitude. National parks and main administrative boundaries are shown and symbols depict places of tourist interest such as campsites, winter sport resorts and historical monuments. Terrain features such as glaciers, salt lakes, lava flows and sandy areas are also highlighted. The whole of Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan are included, along with Dagestan, Chechenia, Ingushetia, Karachay-Cherkessia and all the north side of the Caucasus as far north as Stavropol. The Russian Black Sea coast is shown as far west as Novorossisk. Index on the the reverse.
