Simple tourist map showing the main routes and features of the Cape Peninsula, with enlargements for popular sites on the reverse. The base map shows general relief through - in some places - rather severe hill shading. The overlaid detail strongly emphasizes the main road and railway network, and colours distinguish the Cape Peninsula NP, other conservation land, Marine Protected Areas and industrial zones. Some peak heights are marked and symbols depict information centres, toll routes, car parks, shopping malls and various landmarks, sites of interest, heritage sites and viewpoints. No scale is stated and no driving distances are marked on any routes.

The map is annotated with assorted facts and notes for tourists, and emphasised in red on the map is the main driving route connecting six major attractions in the region. Small insets show in greater detail three complex junctions on this route. On the reverse, the six attractions are given further attention, with more detailed maps and additional notes: Table Mountain and Lion's Head, Kirtsenbosch National Botanical Garden, Oudekraal, Silvermine, Cape of Good Hope, and Boulders Beach.
