A general road map of France overprinted with the entire network of the Sentiers de Grande Randonnée, the long distance GR walking routes extending throughout the country. Each route shown is clearly identified with its number. Brief text in French only provides some basic information on the network and futher information resources, and describes classification and waymarking. Map detail includes the main road network, regional and departemental boundaries, and nature reserves.
This title is one of several thematic tourist maps published by the IGN using their general road map of France as a base and aimed to present the country’s cultural and historical heritage, opportunities for outdoor pursuits, etc.
