Double-sided tourist map, with numerous insets of street plans, enlargements for most frequently visited areas, and plenty of tourist information. The main map shows the country’s railways, airports and aerodromes, and its road network with seven kinds of roads, indicating restricted access, scenic routes, mountain passes, intermediate driving distances, and locations of petrol stations. National parks and reserves are highlighted, with entry gates marked. Symbols show various public or private hospital and clinics, police stations, places of interest including seal colonies and recommended bird watching or fishing spots, plus numerous tourist facilities including various types of accommodation from hotels to luxury or 4x4 campsites.

On the reverse a series of insets displays enlargements of all the most popular areas: Etosha National Park, Mudumu and Mamili National Parks, Sossusvlei area of the Namib-Naukluft Park, Ai-Ais/Richtersveld Transfrontier Park (including the RSA section) with the Fish River Canyon, and the Lüderitz Peninsula. Apart from the occasional stop heights for peaks on the enlargements, neither the main map nor any of the insets have information on the country’s topography or geographical coordinates (although GPS waypoints are shown in the remote north-western corner of Kaokoland).
Also included are street plans of Windhoek, Walvis Bay, Lüderitz, Swakopmund, Keetmanshoop, Grootfontein, and Otjiwarongo, all showing various public buildings and tourist facilities. There is also a plan of the Kolmanskop Ghost Town. The map has numerous panels with additional information on accommodation, national parks and other places of interest, tour operators, etc.
