Durable, laminated, tourist street plan with index, including coverage of Taipa and Coloane - one of the many handy-sized Flexi Maps by this publisher, impressive for the amount of information packed in a small format. Detail on the main map of the island includes car parks, tourist information offices, bus terminals, ferry links, temples, churches, monuments, hotels, sites of interest and notable and public buildings. Colours distinguish parks and built-up areas and the route of the Macau Grand Prix is marked. Most street and location names are written in Chinese and Latin script.
On the reverse is a 1:45,000 map of Taipa and Coloane lying to the south of Macau, and where the international airport is located. More attractions are marked and main road names are stated. There is also a 1:1,500,000 road map of the adjacent region of China including the towns of Guangzhou, Shantou and Yangjiang. Hill-shading shows the general relief and some peak altitudes are marked. No latitude and longitude lines are marked on the maps. All the maps are indexed, for streets, districts, buildings, towns and places of interest as appropriate for the scale and level of detail, and throughout the coverage 27 major attractions are highlighted and provided with brief descriptions. Some general notes for tourists are also included ie. public transport matters, money, tourist information resources.
